This is quick info about my smallest FPV build. It’s only 394g ready to flight, but the goal is to build something below 250g.
This is quick guide, showing how to replace SMA connector by tiny U.FL used for 868MHz FrSky antennas, and make really small Qczek LRS RX. The hardest past of modification is SMA connector removal. I did it using hot air… Next very important thing (don’t forget about it) is removal part of RF signal trace. […]
This is quick guide how to use QLRS with Taranis X-Lite using 3d printed module case designed by me. First thing you should know, is that X-Lite does not support 9ms PXX protocol like Taranis X9D does, so you will need to use PPM output which is a little bit slower, but suitable for long […]
One of the missing features of FrSky Taranis X-Lite is small number of switches, which are really useful for FPV flights (the 2nd is crappy electronics design, totally not immune for 433MHz radio modules ;). I love my Taranis X-9D equipped with 6 position rotary switch which is ideal for selecting flight mode. So i […]
I always wonder, how different are all the antennas you can but on banggood, or aliexpress, and finally i can check it using my simple sweep analyzer. That’s all I found in my drawer, including my very fist DIY helical antenna.

Enjoy 🙂 What’s new/fixed: support for FrSky smart port telemetry (see QCZEK LRS – SPORT TELEMETRY) fixed problem with frequency of receiving/sending telemetry frequency fixing possible problem with RX boot, after reset done by watchdog timer code size optimization support for mavlink HOME_POSITION (necessary both TX/RX serial port connection, to make possible reqesting home possition […]
First screens showing how mavlink -> sport could work (without any external hw).
It will be my primary FPV plane i think… and under 600g 🙂 Flight did with spotters of course… Btw, It utilize QCZEK LRS (868MHz 100mW RX module) which is grate choice for not 100km flights 😉
I developed my first C# app, and now you don’t need to use serial terminal for QLRS configuration. You can download beta version from download page.
