Contents
--------
QczekX.exe Portable app (no installation). Prepares the goggles over
USB: permanent SSH + the QCZEK X app manager and apps on the
SD card (web panel at http://192.168.42.1:8080).
qcx-ssh.ps1 Opens a root SSH shell on the goggles over their Wi-Fi,
using the key created by QczekX.exe. Works also with the
              older wsxr-ssh-kit state.

Run from a local disk only (important)
-------------------------------------
Extract and run QczekX.exe from a LOCAL NTFS disk (e.g. C:\...). Do NOT
run it from a pendrive, a memory card or a network folder: those have no
NTFS file permissions and Windows OpenSSH refuses to use the private SSH
key the app creates. If you move to a new PC or folder, move the whole
folder INCLUDING the .\state subfolder (it holds your goggles keys).

Power and cabling (important)
----------------------------
- When powering the goggles on: plug the USB cable in FIRST, then power
them on right away — the USB port alone cannot supply enough current
  to run the goggles.
- Laptop users: connect the laptop's own power supply first. On battery,
USB voltage drops can break off the connection.
- Avoid unpowered USB hubs.

Quick start
-----------
1. One-time USB driver (Zadig) — the goggles must be connected and fully
booted FIRST, otherwise Zadig will not show the device:
   a. Connect the goggles over USB (cable first, then power — see above)
and wait until they finish booting.
   b. Run Zadig (https://zadig.akeo.ie) as administrator, Options >
List All Devices, select USB ID 1D6B:0104 interface 02 (MI_02),
choose WinUSB, Replace Driver. Never touch interface 00.
   c. Power the goggles fully OFF.
2. Connect the USB cable, then power the goggles ON (cable first, then
power). USB mode appears only when the cable is connected before
powering on. Wait until they finish booting — the USB network can
take up to a minute to appear in Windows; the installer waits for it.
3. Run QczekX.exe and press "Prepare my goggles" (accept one UAC prompt).
4. Power the goggles fully off, start them WITHOUT the cable, join their
Wi-Fi (avatarx_...), open http://192.168.42.1:8080 and create your
panel password. The boot splash and the app launcher (hold PLAY
1.5 s) start automatically — AudioTest and Arkanoid are in the menu.
5. SSH shell any time later (PowerShell, PC connected to goggles Wi-Fi):
       .\qcx-ssh.ps1 interactive root shell
       .\qcx-ssh.ps1 id single command
The private key never leaves this PC; the goggles host key is pinned.

Notes
-----
- Never use software reboot on the goggles — always power-cycle.
- Removing/wiping the SD card disables the panel but keeps SSH working.
- Forgot the panel password? Delete qczek-x/data/auth on the SD card
(or wipe it), then set a new one on first visit.

  project repository, linked from qczek.beyondrc.com).
