Hard to solder, but works as expected 🙂
You can download the gerber files if you want
And the schematic qczek_lrs_E78_schematic
The documentation will be provided asap… 🙂

Hi QCZEK, thank u for your awesome work!
ASR6601 version works like a charm. Only trouble i found was with crsf PASSTHROUGH packet with FrameId 0x80, is there any chance to implement it in the future version? More details you can find in https://github.com/ArduPilot/ardupilot/blob/master/libraries/AP_RCProtocol/AP_RCProtocol_CRSF.h.
sure, i can do it.. but need some time
Hi.
I have modules on STM8: e45-ttl-100 (HW_3.0) and e32-t20D(HW_1.0). Tell me which version to flash?
In version 1.92, there is no HW_3.0 for the 433MHz module, only 6.0, 6.2.
And the second question: in version 3.0 (for the ASR6601 controller), the same functions are implemented as for the old modules (like E32)? I.e. if I have an old 100 MW module (e32-t20D(HW_1.0)) and I have a new E78 module, for the same 100MW, then there is no difference which one to use? All the same functions are ported to the new processor, right?

Hi, Kris! Greetings from Ukraine! Tell me please – what values are of FLx beads? Got package with pcbs and ready to solder them. Do I need to program the module before placing it on pcb or is it possible to program on the board? And, at the last – “TXCO-firmware” – what does it mean?
With gratefull, Oleh!
Hi,
Regarding FLx search for Mouser No:81-BLM18AG601SN1J or use anything similar.
You can program the module mounted on the board.
TCXO it’s new version of modules which use TCXO instead of ordinary resonator.
Kris
Kris, thanks for the answer! I’m playing with E78 915LN22S ASR6601CB… After flashing(everything went well) it become as a brick. Any ideas? I know you didn’t mentoined that it should work, but…
Hi! Kris, sorry for stupid questions: TCXO version looks like on the photo https://qczek.beyondrc.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/E78_ASR6601_PHOTO-scaled.jpg ?
Does your firmware work on E78 915LN22S(ASR6601 and it is like on the photo above)? I have tried different versions 3.10 with direct wiring flashing and every time after that with this module configurator messages about error reading parameters.
Is it possible to communicate via e-mail?
Hi, Kris! Did you wrote some docs for this project? I’m dancing around these modules like a shaman. After soldering the pcb with module how do I need to program it? Via USB-Serial adapter(didn’t work for me – after desoldering and direc wiring it flashes well) or STM-programmer? How to connect to PC for configuring them? How to work with Slave and Master-modules. Please, help me.
With regards, Oleh
you have to connect it exactly as a naked module. See the post about it. I did not prepared any documentation.
Kris
Good day! Will it work with E78 470LN22S modules?
Hi, Kris! Regarding the issue of low power of the E78 module, Yibaite has launched a built-in PA LNA module, which can be used with E20-400G30S and E20-900G30S!E21-400G30S is a pure hardware RF mid-power amplifier (PA) launched by Chengdu Ebyte Company, with a maximum output power of 1W, covering a frequency range of 410 to 470MHz. The module has a built-in LNA low-noise amplifier, which can greatly improve wireless communication. Communication distance.

This is a reference website!https://www.ebyte.com/product-view-news.aspx?id=1744!The new firmware transmitter and receiver modules in section 3.1 only support the CSRF protocol. Does it mean that Mavlink data transmission is no longer supported!
Hi, Kris! Just for understanding as the things works out:
1. E78 3.11 firmware supports only CRSF-signal for input(Master) and with CRSF or CPPM for Slave’s module output.
2. CRSF-signal must be inverted only on Master’s input(for naked module): (¯.,.¯¯..,¯) not(_””__””_)
3.The telemetry info is going downward via CRSF-signal.
For old modules E22/E32 the telemetry speed is stricted to 4800 bouds p/m and translates separately from or by alternative way with S.Bus-signal.
Is everything correct?
Thanks!
With regards, Oleh
I tried the 470 MHz module, RX Loos works. The plane barely crashed, but it works stably at 833 MHz.
