New module installed
New module’s replaced old one. The 6.2 module introduced 3db receiving sensitivity improvements and less harmonics comparing to version 1.1.
RSSI checked at 5km distance
This is raw RSSI value report by LoRa modem, using lowest possible TX power less then 23dBm (less then 250mW), and non directional antennas.
QCZEK LRS is working very well :)
Finally I found time to test it.
Development of Qczek LRS
Months ago i started to develop custom firmware for cheap 1W LORA module, to use it as LRS RX/RX devices. Now it’s almost ready for testing 🙂
Blejzyk is flying ;)
This is relay nice FPV glider 🙂 Build log
LRS Moxon antenna v2 (tuned)
I recently bought simple sweep spectrum analyzer, and now i can measure and tune all my antennas. Moxon antenna i made was not so good tuned as expected, so I made another one. Now it looks much better 🙂
CG Machine
An absolute must for RC hobbyists 🙂
Moxon Antenna for LRS TX
This is first Moxon antenna I made. It looks like having 5db more gain then RMILECÂ SRC771 1/2 Wave Length Antenna (according my simple measurements). As always my RF generator’s used to drive TX antenna, and Immersion RC power meter, connected to dipole antenna to measure signal level.
DIY biquad antenna vs other ready to use antennas you can buy
I made my biquad antenna i did some simple measurements to compare it to other antennas used for FPV. It is very simple, I used Semi-rigid Flexible RG40 cable, inserted into small brass tube to make antenna tuning possible.
